Job Description

The Email Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of email marketing campaigns, calendars, and strategic initiatives that support company and business unit goals.

Key Performance Metrics

  • Main scorecard metrics: Thorough tracking and analysis of campaign performance – open rates, click rates, conversion rates, and revenue impact
  • Ensure creative materials align with our brand, reflect the Indigo voice, and complement online and in-store content.
  • Assess, enhance, and streamline processes within and across teams
  • Ensure satisfaction of cross-functional partners

Key Accountabilities

Functional

  • Execute email campaigns from concept to deployment by creating creative briefs, developing campaign content, managing stakeholder reviews, and ensuring error-free deployments
  • Oversee email performance by tracking, analyzing results, identifying testing opportunities, and staying informed on email marketing trends
  • Advocate for the customer in decision-making processes
  • Identify areas for improvement, diagnose issues, and provide support to digital marketing projects

People

  • Collaborate with team members to find quick solutions
  • Share technical expertise and seek opportunities for learning
  • Help others understand the impact of their work and involve different functions for input

Reports to: Senior Manager, Email Marketing

Manager once Removed (MOR): Director, Growth Marketing

  • Email service provider (Sailthru)

Qualifications

Work Experience / Education / Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma, preferably in marketing, communications, or business
  • 1+ years of experience in email marketing
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Trello is a plus
  • Background in a fast-paced B2C retail/e-commerce environment
  • Knowledge of data-driven marketing
