This role will act as a key business partner and will be integral with the Chief Growth Officer as well as other Senior Operational Executives on a wide range of topics, including headcount planning, pipeline/forecasting and long-range operational planning.

You partner with the business to understand the goals of each business unit, and guide strategy to maximize business value.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with the Financial Management team and the Director, FP&A in the preparation of financial and management reporting, including but not limited to monthly, quarterly and annual reporting; monitoring budgets; Management Discussions and Analysis (MD & A) schedules; variance reports; nonfinancial reports (i.e., customer metrics, product performance analysis, churn); forecasting; and financial close.
  • Orchestrates and prepares the timely execution of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes (bookings forecast), including but not limited to creating financial models and analyses of financial and operational metrics to evaluate and direct business performance.
  • Incorporates key internal stakeholder input to develop and maintain optimal processes and financial controls to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Oversees all aspects of the annual operating plan, quarterly forecast updates, and longterm planning process, including providing forecast financial statements and detaillevel explanations of trends and variances, and collaborating with the senior leadership team and US finance teams on various FP&A reportingrelated projects or initiatives. Assumes a lead role to provide financial guidance and insightful analysis and aggressively monitors corporate progress against targets, ensuring management has the financial insight necessary to achieve goals.
  • Spearheads the Monthly Operations Review, including determination of topics, meeting details and tracking completion of action items.
  • Compiles and executes comprehensive summary reports for key stakeholders as required, and ad hoc usage reports for all applicable business units including Sales and Operations.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Experience:

  • BS in Accounting, Finance with FP&A experience in a midsized or large organization required
  • 3+ years of experience required
  • Experience in multiunit retail environment is desirable
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are required
  • Experience with financial modeling
  • Ability to find and pull appropriate data, along with validating and reviewing data and reports for accuracy and completion. SQL / Tableau knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to excel in fast paced environment, take direction, and handle multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required and must be a team player
  • Ability to build effective working relationships throughout the organization
  • Managerial experience a plus
  • Data analysis and modeling skills with the ability to work with large quantities of detailed data from multiple sources.
  • Prior experience using data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau) required
  • Excellent organization, prioritization & time management skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and influencing skills in a matrixed organization
  • Able to work independently and within a team structure to consistently deliver quality solutions within time constraints
  • Experience in NetSuite, PowerBI/Tableau a plus
