Job Description:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Studio Merchandise & Producing, the Specialist of Studio Producing is responsible for optimizing the Studio's visual production operations from pre-production to post-production.
This role works closely with all roles in the Studio and requires a highly collaborative style with the ability to influence and motivate others.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Production development - 60%
- Collaborate with Studio Specialists to operationalize the Art Direction and provide solutions to achieve desired output. Stay uptodate with SSENSE Art Direction
- Build and maintain key relationships with Art Direction, Buying and other partners by demonstrating a deep commitment to getting results
- Contribute to maintaining and improving the studio's knowledge base through standard, concise and relevant documentation
- Provide the Art Direction and Visual Production teams with expert knowledge on operations workflows, production tools and best practices to support new initiatives.
- Ensure visual quality standards are maintained by the Production team, while aligning to the business operations targets
- Actively participate in assessing and implementing new workflow tools
- Assist in managing the blockers which hinder the set team's performance
- Formalize a system for _Reshoots_ and other type of special requests to optimize the intake process
- Continually seeks opportunities and enhancements to improve on quality of Studio deliverables
- Manage all _pre _and _post_ production projects to ensure content produced is of the highest quality
- Capture requirements from multiple departments and be responsible for ensuring clear communication of stakeholder decisions, timings and status
- Build briefs, deliver guidelines, and advise teams to achieve desired output for new product categories, new brands and other requests
- Act as the liaison and key contact for cross functional partners
- Coordinate and assemble periodic reporting of our total "special" project output, including analysis of metrics and utilization reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Marketing, Business Administration, Project Management, or related experience
- 23 years experience in management or logistics role, fashion, ecommerce and/or creative industry environment
- Positive approach to problem solving through analytical thinking and operational efficacy
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks, with project changes, and reliably meet deadlines
- A genuine passion for creative operations; track record instilling operational excellence for a creative team
- Must be a selfstarter, critical thinker, team player, thrives working in a fastpaced entrepreneurial environment, organized, detail oriented, collaborative, and flexible
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French
