Functional Dynamics 365 CE Consultant

OverviewA Functional Consultant (Configurator) is responsible for understanding business problems anddesigning solutions on an enterprise product platform (via declarative tools).
A FunctionalConsultant looks at business requirements and interprets how to best apply the out of the boxproduct to provide a solution, including finding alternative approaches that best leverage theplatform.
Functional Consultants most often use Agile techniques and are a part of a larger,cross-functional team.ExperiencesHas implemented multiple projects in at least one module of Dynamics 365Has implemented intermediate-level user stories with little or no additional oversight according to the enterprise product's best practicesHas built out ambiguous user stories and driven client discussions for clarityFacilitate and lead customer facing workshops, lead demos, and gather / document business requirements for solutions that best leverage the Microsoft D365 CE platform, Power Platform, Canvas Apps, Model Driven Apps, Power Apps Portals, and ConnectorsAdvise customers on D365 CE out-of-the-box capabilities, drive best practices, and participate in technical design sessions.
Configure Dynamics 365 CE / Power Platform componentsHas accurately estimated their own effort to implement user storiesHas an awareness of the need for programmatic customization of the enterprise product and can provide examples of its useHas proven ability to configure elementary security controls of the productCompletion of MB-230 Dynamics 365 Customer Service Functional Consultant Exam or Functional Consultant Associate certification is preferredCore SkillsIssue-based Problem SolvingTechnical AnalysisSystem ConfigurationRapid PrototypingSpecific SkillsRapid PrototypingWorkshop FacilitationSolution OwnershipAgile Estimation & ForecastingTechnical Skillsets NeededExperience drafting use cases and functional design documents related to Dynamics 365 Customer EngagementProficient with Dynamics 365 Customer Service module (omnichannel functionality)Proficient with Dynamics 365 Marketing Module (Customer Insight Journeys)Familiar with Dynamics 365 Customer VoiceFamiliar with Dynamics 365 Cloud for Healthcare (Patient Engagement) is an assetFamiliarity in configuring model-driven Power Platform applicationsFamiliarity with Data modeling, agile methodologies, Azure DevOps for task management, and D365 Customer Insights.
