Job description

The Pampered Pet is looking to add a new, Part-time addition to our sales team


As a small, family owned pet store we are devoted to providing the best possible experience to our new and returning customers.

You must be someone who has high energy, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to learn quickly.

In addition to serving our customers and helping them find the best possible product to suit their needs, you will be required to answer phone calls daily and book appointments for our grooming department.

You must be organized, responsible, and able to work independently as well as with a team.

We are looking for someone who:

  • MUST HAVE SALES EXP
  • Has a passion for animals and animal care
  • Is friendly and easy going
  • Is available to work evenings and weekends
  • Retail sales experience (especially in the pet industry) is an asset but not required
  • Can lift up to 50lbs
  • Comfortable handling feeder insects and frozen rats/mice

Salary:
$15.50 per hour
