We are looking for a
Financial Operations Manager with 5+ years of experience to work alongside our Manager, Finance & Accounting.

In this role, you will be responsible to lead the strategic operational wing of our finance function.

The Financial Operations Manager is responsible for the performance and continuous improvement of our financial operations, including budgeting & forecasting, financial planning & analysis, financial product ownership, reconciliation & analysis of data and other ad-hoc financial processes & activities.

The Financial Operations Manager is a dynamic individual who is highly analytical, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to synthesize financial information in order to identify problems and develop solutions that are practical and effective.

You will be the strategic pulse and driver of key changes in our business and this requires a detailed understanding of the business achieved through a thorough analysis of financial information and related KPI's; collaborative business partnering, and a strong focus around strategic targets.

Strategy & Financial Operations

  • Manage the daytoday financial operations functions, including:
  • Reconciliation of financial data;
  • Product ownership for payment processing;
  • Financial operations & support functions;
  • Provide training & guidance to above teams on best practices, processes in a financial operations organization, as well as guide the team on the completion of recurring deliverables or adhoc nonroutine requests;
  • Provide accurate and thorough analysis of key process drivers, root or systemic causes of cross functional operational issues, interpret findings, and make recommendations for improvement;
Budgeting, Forecasting & FP&A

  • Participate in the strategic financial planning & budgeting activities with the leadership team, to formulate the business' medium to long term financial and strategic plan;
  • Support the CFO in establishing the framework for FP&A and budgeting activities;
  • Work with all business units to build their annual budgets & forecasts;
  • Produce financial models to project long term growth and perform sensitivity analysis to help determine the impacting business factors;
  • Provide reports on competitor analysis, market trends and other external factors to the leadership team in order to support business decisions;
  • Utilize business intelligence tools to deliver meaningful insights into business performance, and analyze financial and operational results to better understand company performance;
  • Communicate effectively to senior management the reasons behind the business unit performance and results;
Special Projects

  • Identify workflow inefficiencies that arises when various different processes & systems are not aligned, and work to resolve these inefficiencies by reducing the technical load and improving the business flow & process;
  • Perform adhoc research on the industry, leaders, competitors and potential opportunities which may lead to a competitive advantage for the company;
  • Provide support in determining the correct capital allocation for projects & long term initiatives;
Leadership

  • Lead a team of project managers, product owners & data specialists;
  • Manage the financial operations teams' calendar and timeline for monthly, quarterly & annual deliverables;
  • Act as a resource and provide assistance to the Director & executive teams with respect to financial information, issues and reports;
  • Provide daytoday leadership and lead the development of a positive and constructive culture through the facilitation of teamwork and immediate conflict resolution;
  • Ensure the effective performance of all team members within the department through the effective establishment, communication and measurement of performance expectations;
  • CPA or MBA designated finance professional with 8+ years of experience in a similar position;
  • Management and/or financial consulting experience is highly desirable;
  • A solid understanding of the budgeting, forecasting & FP&A process is required;
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Quickbooks, and Excel is required, and NetS
