Participation in daily pharmacy activities

  • Patient greeting promptly
  • Confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling
  • Accurate data entry and dispensing of patient and prescription information
  • Refer to the pharmacist all clinical inquiries especially customers requiring counseling (OTC or Rx)
  • Managing customer inquiries both in person and over the phone
  • Assist with cash register or pick up as required
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and privacy requirements
  • Perform duties in priority according to the pharmacist instructions
  • Perform inventory management under the direction of the pharmacist

Qualifications include:

  • Positive, cooperative and teamoriented attitude
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Detailoriented
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Proficient computer/data entry skills
  • Previous pharmacy experience is an asset

Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
