Job Summary:
As a Team Member in Sanitation, you play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the organization.
Your primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of workspaces, equipment, and common areas to create a safe and healthy environment for all employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sanitization and Cleaning:
Perform routine cleaning and sanitization tasks for various areas, including offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and production areas.
Disinfection of Surfaces:
Use approved cleaning agents to disinfect surfaces, equipment, and high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs.
Waste Management:
Collect and dispose of waste, recyclables, and other materials following proper procedures and guidelines.
Restroom Maintenance:
Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked with necessary supplies, and maintained according to hygiene standards.
Common Area Cleaning:
Clean and maintain common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and meeting rooms.
Equipment Cleaning:
Clean and sanitize tools, machinery, and equipment in accordance with established protocols.
Compliance:
Adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established procedures.
Reporting Issues:
Report any maintenance or sanitation issues to the supervisor for timely resolution.
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

High attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization.

Basic time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
Teamwork:
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues.
Safety Awareness:
Understanding of safety protocols and the importance of adhering to safety guidelines.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in janitorial or sanitation roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
