We specialize in providing high-quality docking and waterfront solutions for our valued customers. Our main EZ Dock products come from Monett, Missouri, and are distributed throughout our territory. We hold on-hand inventory for our dealers and work with third-party fabricators for some of our SKU's. We are committed to delivering excellent customer service and innovative solutions to meet the growing needs of our clients.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team.

This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations and logistics, including inventory management, installation organization, and trade show logistics support.

The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our company, working closely with the President to align operations with our strategic goals.


Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock to meet customer needs and dealer requirements.
  • Coordinate with our Monett, MO supplier and thirdparty fabricators to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Implement and maintain efficient inventory control systems, including regular audits and accurate recordkeeping.

Logistics Management:

  • Manage the transportation and distribution of products throughout our territory, ensuring timely and costeffective deliveries.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with transportation and logistics providers.
  • Monitor and optimize logistics performance, implementing improvements as necessary.

Installation Organization:

  • Coordinate and schedule installation projects, working closely with dealers and clients to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • Oversee the procurement and allocation of necessary equipment and resources for installations.
  • Collaborate with installation teams to ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control, and customer satisfaction.

Trade Show Logistics Support:

  • Assist with the planning, organization, and execution of trade show events, including booth design, setup, and teardown.
  • Coordinate shipping and transportation of trade show materials and products.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking with potential clients, and promoting our brand and products.

Team Management and Collaboration:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage operations staff, ensuring a high level of performance and productivity.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork.
  • Work closely with the President and other department heads to align operations with company objectives.

Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance Management:

  • Oversee the scheduled maintenance of equipment and vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Coordinate and track vehicle safety inspections, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry best practices.
  • Manage vehicle licensing, regulations, and insurance, including IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement) requirements.
  • Employee Training and Safety:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive employee training programs, ensuring staff are knowledgeable in company processes, products, and safety standards.
  • Continuously update and enforce company safety requirements and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring a safe work environment for all team members.
  • Coordinate and conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions, promoting a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the Dock or related industry.
  • Proven success in inventory management, logistics, and team leadership.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
  • Familiarity with EZ Dock products and the dock industry is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows and company events.
  • Knowledge of equipment and vehicle maintenance, safety regulations, and licensing requirements, including IFTA.
  • Experience in employee training and development, with a focus on safety and compliance.
