We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Equity, Diversity & Inclusion and Wellbeing Analytics Manager who is accountable for the delivery of the equity, diversity and inclusion strategy, policies, programs, practices and learning across OLG. Through cross-functional collaboration, the role partners in the development and implementation of a multi-year EDI plan that has sustainable, measurable goals and actions and is aligned to enterprise strategic priorities.

YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME

Reporting to the Director Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, you will be empowered to:

  • Partner with Director to lead the development of data-driven and evidence-based enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Lead the development of dashboards to analyze multiple sources of data related to experiences across different demographic groups.
  • Accountable for the planning, implementation, delivery and monitoring of equity-related initiatives across the organization, in collaboration with enterprise leaders and employees.
  • Partner effectively with internal P&C groups (HRBPs, CoE teams etc.) and enterprise-wide stakeholders (Communications, Sustainability, Legal etc.) to provide strategic support on mutually aligned objectives.
  • Ensure regular tracking of metrics related to organizational health matters, including employee wellbeing, WSIB, sick leaves, EAP utilization, and accommodations requests.
  • Translate research and best practices to readily consumable resources and programs aligned with business needs.
  • Provide leadership and coaching, when appropriate, to Managers, Directors and VPs via one-to-one and group interactions.
  • Assist Director with requirements for inclusive frameworks and tools to support cross-functional stakeholders and initiatives from an EDI and wellbeing lens, i.e., recruitment, performance management, career and succession planning, compensation and benefits and employee on-and-offboarding.
  • Evaluate current policies, practices and programs and make recommendations that take into account legislation, and best practice.
  • Partner with leaders and other internal stakeholders to embed equity, diversity, and inclusion, in OLGs programming, learning, HR practices, communications, marketing, strategic initiatives and other areas.
  • Act as an expert resource to ensure broader public sector trends and EDI/wellbeing research related issues are disseminated across the organization.

WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAY

Work Experience: 5-7 years of experience in EDI or related areas, such as human capital strategy, management consulting etc. Deep understanding of and lived experience in equity, diversity, and inclusion with demonstrated ability to turn theory into practical and meaningful insights, programs and metrics.

Education: Degree and/or equivalent experience in equity, diversity & inclusion, education, or similar expertise. Preferably post graduate degree with balanced quantitative and qualitative reasoning (MBA, MPA etc.) or other relevant post-graduate training

Critical Skills:
- Highly skilled in using data and developing data-driven insights and dashboards, with the ability to identify, recommend, and utilize appropriate metrics and tools to assess and report on the effectiveness and impact of ID&E initiatives.
- Experience and credibility as a leader in matrixed environments demonstrating influence and relationship building
- Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and groups.
- Ability to dive deep with quantitative and qualitative data analyses to identify the root causes of problems through an expanded, holistic view and long-term perspective and think big to develop scalable solutions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities in articulating clear, compelling messages and in tackling complex or sensitive topics with a professional, direct, learning approach
- Collaborator, who works with internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement and embed viable policies, guidelines, learning, tools and practices
- Proven educational approach in facilitating and influencing culture change through knowledge of leading practices and legislative requirements, as well as engaging stakeholders in a thoughtful, constructive way
- Understanding of internal and external communication practices in sharing equity, diversity and inclusion information and managing issues
- Strong program and project management skills, and ability to operationalize and scale programs
