• Prepare a variety of baked goods such as bread, pastries, and desserts
• Ensure compliance with food safety protocols and health department guidelines
• Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters
• Decorate cakes and pastries as needed
• Package and present baked goods for sale
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
• Manage baking ingredient inventory levels and procurement to maintain adequate supplies
• Provide guidance, training and supervise bakery personnel on baking techniques, safety protocols, and sanitation practices
• Oversee purchasing for your department
• Monitor the condition of the baking equipment, arranging for maintenance and repairs when needed

• Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen setting is preferred
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety guidelines
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
• Profound understanding of baking methods, ingredients, and tools
• Strong attention to detail and creativity
• Proven leadership abilities
• Excellent attention to detail
