This role is part of our business unit working on original games. These teams focus on the creation, development, and maintenance of Behaviour-owned IPs such as Dead by Daylight and Meet Your Maker and other unannounced titles in development.

Behaviour Interactive is partnering with Haenir Studio to develop and publish their hotly anticipated debut IP, Blight: Survival .The game takes place in the no man's land between two desperate kingdoms locked in a ceaseless war. Within this realm of death and decay, a new strain of Blight has erupted from the remains of the fallen. Fed and strengthened by the blood that's been spilled, it rapidly spreads – turning man into monster.

In this role you will:
  • Partner with leadership to create accessible and engaging experiences;
  • Help evangelize the UX game's vision to the team at large;
  • Collaborate with the team to findbalanced solutions for players, business, and technical goals;
  • Collaborate with game design, tech, and art to deliver innovative, intuitive, and efficient experiences for our players;
  • Drive the wireframe creation, HUD, signs, feedback, and prototypes;
  • Be an advocate for player experience and ensure our features are aligned with player satisfaction and enjoyment;
  • ShareUX best practices and principleswithin the project and studio;
  • Work with user research to evaluate the usability of games andassist in turning feedback into actionable items.
What we're looking for:
  • Deep knowledge and application of user-centered design and player behaviour;
  • Good critical thinking, problem solving skills, and attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Creative and passionate about games;
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and in team environments;
  • Familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite and various prototyping tools i.e., Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch;
  • Experience as a UX designer in the video game industry or the equivalent;
  • Experience working in engine is a plus.
Dans ce rôle, vous devrez:
  • Travailler en partenariat avec les responsables UX afin des créer des expériences accessibles et attrayantes ;
  • Contribuer à évangéliser la vision UX du jeu auprès de l'ensemble de l'équipe ;
  • Collaborer avec l'équipe afin de trouver des solutions équilibrées qui répondent aux objectifs de jouabilité, d'affaires et techniques ;
  • Collaborer avec les équipes de conception de jeu, technologie et art afin de créer des expériences novatrices, intuitives et efficaces pour nos joueur·euse·s ;
  • Prendre en charge la création de maquettes schématiques (wireframes), de l'affichage tête haute (HUD), des commandes, du feedback et des prototypes ;
  • Défendre les intérêts des joueur·euse·s en termes de jouabilité et assurer que nos fonctionnalités soient en accord avec leur expérience globale et leur satisfaction ;
  • Partager les meilleures pratiques et principes UX au sein du projet et du studio ;
  • Travailler avec l'équipe recherche utilisateur afin d'évaluer l'ergonomie des jeux et aider à transformer la rétroaction reçue en actions concrètes.
Ce que nous recherchons:
  • Connaissance approfondie et expérience pratique de conception axée sur l'utilisateur et comportements des joueur∙euse∙s ;
  • Aptitude à la pensée critique, en résolution de problèmes et souci du détail ;
  • Excellentes aptitudes pour la communication ;
  • Esprit créatif et passion pour les jeux vidéo ;
  • Agilité face à l'ambiguïté et capacité à évoluer dans des environnements d'équipe ;
  • Connaissance d'Adobe Creative Suite et de divers outils de prototypage tels Adobe XD, Figma et Sketch ;
  • Expérience à titre de concepteur·trice UX au sein de l'industrie du jeu ou l'équivalent ;
  • Expérience avec un moteur de jeu, un atout.

Behaviour Interactive s'associe à Haenir Studio pour développer et publier leur premier jeu très attendu, Blight : Survival . Le jeu se déroule dans le no man's land entre deux royaumes désespérés enfermés dans une guerre incessante. Dans ce royaume de mort et de décomposition, une nouvelle souche de Blight a surgi des restes de ceux qui sont tombés au combat. Nourrie et renforcée par le sang versé, elle se propage rapidement, transformant l'homme en monstre.
