Celebrating over 35 years in business, Starship Freight is a third-party transportation logistics company, located in Georgetown, Ontario.

General Summary

Track shipments and keep our team and our customers updated as necessary. Support Customer Service Representatives with any overflowing tasks they may have.

Core Functions

• Track orders daily for our customers to ensure on time pickups and deliveries
• Build relationship with current and future customer and suppliers
• Responding to customer inquiries as related to services and general inquiries
• Communicate with receivers & shippers to accommodate flawless and timely deliveries and pickups
• Keep records of customer interactions or transaction, record details of inquiries, complaints or comments as well as actions taken
• Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation

Qualifications:

• Customer Service Experience
• Transportation Experience an asset
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks at a time
• Demonstrates ability for problem solving to determine solutions for customers
• Must be able to work both independently and within team environment
