The Water Consultant/Sales Representative role is a customer-focused residential sales position. Sales reps perform client calls, water analysis, and product demonstrations using creative methods of sales, marketing and appointment setting.

A positive attitude and the goal to provide the best solution possible is the key to success in this position.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute our proven sales presentation process while avoiding shortcuts and completing the full product demo with every potential customer
  • Seek out new customer leads and initiate sales calls to potential customers in order to maintain sales quotas
  • Generate leads from referrals, print/online/radio advertising, etc.
  • Respond to current customers' needs as requested
  • Follow up with new customers preinstallation and postsale of product to ensure complete satisfaction
  • Discuss all products on a clearly understood level, answer customers' questions, and perform the technical aspects of the job (water testing, etc.)

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in the water industry or with residential sales is a definite asset
  • Prior experience building territories and generating prospects is an asset
  • A versatile selfstarter who takes initiative and can work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Positive attitude, work ethic, strong interpersonal and good communication skills, both written and oral
  • Understand the importance of daily reporting and file administration to the overall sales process
  • Ability to understand and use CRM platforms on a daily basis
  • Pleasant, professional, friendly customer service demeanor is a must
