About the role:


The Community Engagement and Data Facilitator will work collaboratively with the Manager of Communications and Community Partnerships and Today's Family's Systems and Data team to leverage neighbourhood data to increase community engagement within our communities.


Responsibilities:

Neighbourhood Data Initiatives

  • Analyze program and community data to map and report on impact and opportunity of Today's Family's programs and services
  • Work closely with neighbours and community members to collect data and input on opportunities for increased community engagement
  • Mobilize and respond to key findings by proposing, planning, and helping to facilitate community events and workshops that increase wellbeing and belonging within our communities

Systems and Data Support:

  • Performing data entry and updates into database
  • Checking records for accuracy and duplication
  • Report discrepancies to System and Data team

What you bring to the role:

  • Commitment to and understanding of the Mission, Vision, and Values of Today's Family
  • Experience working or volunteering in community programs or events
  • Comfort facilitating group sessions, workshops and events
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of local neighbourhood data and research (Eg. Census data, SPRC reports) would be an asset
  • Shares an excitement for utilizing and leveraging data to create positive change
  • Strong understanding of Excel, Google Suite products, presentation and data reporting tools, and database management
  • Familiar with database management (webbased databases would be an asset)
  • Experience managing multiple projects
  • Ability to understand logical processes and be detailoriented
  • I.T. aptitude would be an asset
  • Experience related to general administrative duties
  • Ability to travel (via vehicle or transit) to multiple program locations
  • Ability to adhere to confidentiality when working with sensitive information
