Overview: As part of our Benefits and HR consulting team, you will assist clients of all sizes and industries in building more effective workplaces. Your talent, winning attitude, and strong performance are highly valued at Gallagher. We are seeking a Benefits Consultant who can work with a team of personable, motivated individuals.

Our Benefits Consultants drive revenue growth by fostering valuable relationships with prospects and clients, focusing on employee benefits. If you are passionate about helping clients manage risk, cost, and promote an equitable, engaged workforce, this role is for you.

Note: Benefit Consultant positions are available nationwide in Canada. Regardless of your location, feel free to apply if you are interested.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and acquire new business revenue through sales to new and existing clients, with a focus on small to mid-size companies
  • Participate in team sales situations with other producers and support personnel
  • Build a pipeline of business opportunities for new clients and account expansion
  • Introduce Gallagher's full-service offerings to enhance client relationships
  • Stay updated on industry, market, and legislative trends affecting health & welfare plans
  • Create fiscally sound proposals that showcase Gallagher's capabilities
  • Maintain relationships across divisions and companies consistent with our workplace culture

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in consultative B2B sales
  • Demonstrated success in developing new business and maintaining an existing customer base
  • Ideal experience in Benefits Administration and Consulting
