Responsibility Level:


Under general supervision of the ICAT Operations Manager for JCI P3 to provide technical support for various technologies currently installed and operating at JCI's P3 sites.

These technologies include Microsoft Servers, Storage, VM, CCTV system, RTLS (Real Time Location Services) and Nurse Call systems. The position also includes opportunities for employees and teams to participate in problem solving and continuous improvement. Interface with hospital IT staff, project management office and site personnel to successfully complete all IT integration activities. All activities must conform to Johnson Controls standards for hardware and software.

Principle Duties:

  • Administrate and maintain Windows and Linux Server systems and all computing peripherals managed by JCI
  • Respond to enduser service requests via Facilities & Workplace Management software (QFM)
  • Provide an immediate response for IT related emergencies while adhering proper process and guideline.
  • Liaise with technical specialists and third party vendors to resolve facility managed related equipment.
  • Effectively participate in concurrent projects and prioritize based on business and operational needs
  • Work with management team to collaborate, resolve issue and follow up on things related to customer's question or concern.
  • Ensure systems and operational availability meet or exceed negotiated service levels.
  • Collaborate with the customer's IT team or company's ICAT team to execute hardware or software related maintenance or upgrades.
  • Support all company's safety programs, policies, and procedures

Requirements:

  • This position requires a minimum of one of the following: Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years IT experience, college diploma plus seven (7) years IT experience, or Professional certification plus eight (8) years IT experience. Previous supervisory experience or demonstrated ability to lead a group of IT Professionals is preferred.
  • Possesses excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills. Flexibility required to be able to work required off hour support requirements as needed.
  • Solid software knowledge with Windows Server and Linux,
  • Experienced in network protocols such as TCP/IP, SSH, Telnet, SMTP, SIP, Firewall, VLANS, SMB, BACnet
  • Experienced in Nurse Call, RTLS, Building Automation, Access Control, CCTV is preferred
  • Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills.
