Position Description:

CGI is one of Canada's leading independent IT services companies, and our team is continuously expanding. We are on the lookout for a skilled Pega Developer to join our vibrant crew in Atlantic Canada.

Your responsibilities:

  • In an agile setting, collaborate with analysts to document software requirements using epics, features, user stories, process models, and use cases
  • Assist team members of all technical levels in customizing and developing client management systems
  • Analyze existing documentation to grasp system functionality and apply it to enhance the case management system
  • Offer technical expertise to identify and develop efficient solutions meeting business needs
  • Provide recommendations for organization-wide system enhancements and optimization
  • Implement PEGA design/coding best practices

Qualifications for success:

Effective communication skills are crucial for this role.

Required Experience:

  • 4+ years of Pega enhancement delivery (preferably Pega 8.X)
  • Proficiency in building REST APIs on Pega platform
  • Experience with Azure implementation and Azure CI/CD pipeline
  • Collaboration with INFRA teams for issue resolution in upgrade and migration projects
  • Hands-on knowledge of various Pega components and functionalities

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Rule Availability Concepts
  • Understanding of Page List, Page Group, Value Group, and Value List
  • Familiarity with Pega Guiderails
