Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner
  • Match invoices with respective purchase orders/receipts, ensuring compliance with Petrie Ford's policies and procedures
  • Maintain vendor files and ensure documentation is accurately filed and archived
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions
  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and issues
  • Assist with monthend closing
  • Assisting with additional accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree/diploma in accounting or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
