Job Summary:


Construction Site Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel on the construction site.

This role involves conducting risk assessments, developing safety procedures, and coordinating safety training programs.

Construction Site Safety Manager will collaborate with project managers, contractors, and regulatory authorities to maintain compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Additionally, will investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Commitment to promoting a safety culture and your proactive approach to hazard identification and mitigation will be essential in maintaining high safety standards throughout the construction project.


Duties:

  • Safety and Scheduling Management
- messaging employees, installers daily regarding start times, directions and coordinating crews. Checking the job stages sheet daily and updating. Attending site meetings and communicating with site managers. Training and quality inspections. Organizing site materials and installers.

  • Safety
- administering safety meetings, managing safety requirements and document submittal for builders and general contractors. Overseeing current tickets and courses obtained by Cornerstone and its employees/subcontractors.

  • Installation
- assisting on large jobs, doing repairs/warranty work, small jobs when not on site managing. (Afternoons, and certain full days) installation on large projects when time allows or work is of an urgent nature.

  • Detail inspection on site, checking blueprint details and ensuring installers are working correctly, and materials are secure and installed properly.
  • Manlift light maintenance, and daily inspections. Calling for repairs and coordination of work to machines, delegating equipment for crews, and requesting additional rental equipment when necessary, from the Cornerstone office
  • Deliveries
- moving materials to job sites. Would not include excessive heavy lifting. Connecting and transport of trucks and trailers.

  • Receive incoming shipments of materials and supplies.
  • Verify the accuracy of deliveries against purchase orders and shipping documents.
  • Inspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate parties.
  • Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve delivery discrepancies or issues.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of received materials in designated areas.
  • Maintain accurate records of received materials, including quantities, specifications, and storage locations.
  • Collaborate with procurement, inventory, and production teams to prioritize receiving activities and ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of receiving procedures and best practices to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations during material handling activities.
  • Daily Safety Report for Admin Safety Assessments

Experience:
(Minimum 2 years in Construction Field)

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

Job Type:
Part-time

Salary:
$22.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
