Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Training Technician to join our team.

Reporting to Director of Operations the Training Technician will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of employee training and development programs, ensuring that our team members receive the necessary training to perform their roles effectively and contribute to the overall success of the company.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, room reservations, equipment setup, and materials preparation.
  • Proficiency in training methodologies and instructional techniques.
  • Communicate training schedules and expectations to participants and provide necessary followup and reminders.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of training materials, including presentations, handouts, and online resources.
  • Track training attendance and completion and maintain accurate records of employee training activities.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through surveys, feedback sessions, and performance metrics, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in training and development and incorporate relevant changes into training programs.
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry, file management, and other tasks related to employee training and development.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in training coordinator/specialist or a similar role, preferably in a corporate and/or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories is an asset.
  • Certification in training and development is preferred but not required.
