Currently seeking an individual for a Full Time Permanent Prep & AM Cook

It is 9 shifts on a bi-weekly basis, 30 hrs. per week, with Full benefits & RRSP Matching after 1 year. Cook Shift runs from 7 am to 145 pm and 2:45 pm on certain days. The Prep cook position runs from 1145 am to 645 pm.

You would be required to cover vacations, days off, sick time and work every second weekend.

Description of Job:
Preparation of meals in large quantity, according to RHRA guidelines

Baking

Plating meals to Dietary Staff to serve to the residents

Dishwashing, sanitizing, ware washing

Recording temps, completing audits

Prepping and baking products for next day service

Police Vulnerable Sector Check

TB-Screening Test

Food Handlers Certificate

Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination documents to be presented

COVID-19 considerations:


Masks are to be worn at all times and rapid swab to be completed prior to coming in for your shift.

Both are supplied by the employer.
