Arne's Welding Ltd., a prominent manufacturer of Aggregate and Lowbed Trailers in Western Canada, is in search of a Shot Blaster to join our team.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
- The Shot Blaster role involves daily Shot Blasting of trailers.

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform Shot Blasting on trailers and trailer parts in a booth environment.
- Experience in shot blasting large equipment and ability to work continuously on a single piece of equipment.
- Maintain daily and weekly maintenance of equipment.
- Familiarity with MOD-U BLAST equipment and shot blast profile measurement.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1-2 years' experience with large equipment.
  • Physical fitness to move shot blast by hand and reload blast hopper when necessary.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in Continuous Improvement principles.
  • Experience in the heavy trailer industry or similar.
  • Experience with MOD-U BLAST equipment.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
- Schedule: 8-hour shift

- Monday to Friday
- Ability to commute/relocate: Winnipeg, MB R2J 0A4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:
- Shot blasting: 1 year (preferred)
