Who we need:
This posting is an 18 month contract.

What you will do:

  • Actively supporting the daytoday responsibilities of the Enrollment Services team, to support the corporate strategic imperatives.
  • Actively participating in the international applicant's documents collection, reviewing and validating the documents to ensure that admissions requirements are met.
  • Verifying and researching wide range of international credentials from various legitimate sources.
  • Reporting any fraudulent transcripts (if any).
  • Keeping abreast of foreign credential evaluation standard and other related issues.
  • Maintaining accurate applicant information and status in CRM/SIS.
  • Assisting with conditional acceptance and remaining documentation flags in SIS to ensure proper tracking.
  • Preparing and sending preliminary acceptance letters.
  • Communicating with Registrar's Office about the transfer credit data in the student record.
  • Consulting with Faculty about any admissions exceptions (as needed).
  • Assisting in the creation and distribution of management reports.
  • Collaborating with internal colleagues in other teams (Admissions, Registrar's Office, Faculty) on crossfunctional projects and initiatives, to support the strategic imperatives.
  • Collaborating with external colleagues in the key partner organizations.
  • Upholding the integrity of Admissions and Enrollment Services teams, and compliance of provincial, federal and international education legislation.
  • Additional duties as assigned

What you bring:

  • 12 years of experience in admissions, student recruitment, student services, registrarial services and/or any relevant experience in the higher education industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (e.g., business, public policy and administration, etc.).
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and/or experience in transcript verification, credential assessment, admission procedure.
  • Experience working with database, CRM or SIS.
  • Verbal and written communication skills; experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Teams) considered an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and meticulous record keeping.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work and prioritize.
