Responsibilities:

  • Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
  • Cut materials to size, using hand tools such as saws, chisels, and planes or power tools such as routers and sanders.
  • Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, molding, and hardware.

Salary:
$33.00-$35.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Signing bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Duncan, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
