We are seeking a motivated individual for the position of Truck driver for our Single Axle Truck.

Starting wage is based on experience - $22-$25/hour

As a Single Axel Truck Driver you would:

  • Deliver and haul material while providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain daily logs as required, perform pre & post trip inspections
  • Loading, securing and transporting various types of materials
  • Transporting, loading, unloading and setting up metal fencing
  • Supporting various areas within the company with manual labour
  • Comply with Milner Group Ventures safe working procedures and practices
  • Other duties as required
  • A Valid Class 5 License
  • 2 years relevant experience
  • Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, drivers hours, and occupational health & safety
  • Operate their equipment in a manner as not to cause damage to the equipment or any surrounding structures or impediments and to do so safely to ensure the safety of themselves and others onsite
  • Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch in a professional and respectful manner
  • Traffic Control Person certification (TCP) (preferred)


 Asbestos Foundations
  • Level 1 (preferred)
  • Ability to sit for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, lift, push, pull and walk on varied terrain
  • Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment

Milner group continues to provide services such as trucking, gravel quarrying, demolition, and hazardous materials abatement, hauling, and disposal services for residential and commercial waste to a diverse range of clients in the Mid-Island area.
