Reporting to the Sales Manager(s), the Automotive Sales Consultant will be responsible for building professional relationships with clients through vehicle sales.

The Sales Consultant must maintain current knowledge and training of the dealership's vehicles makes and models. As an ambassador to the Company, they will be professional, approachable, honest, and have strong in-person presentational skills.

The individual must be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, and a desire to succeed and be rewarded for outstanding efforts.


General Responsibilities:

  • Understanding and working with new automobile technology
  • Handling finances and working with the finance manager(s) for a flawless Delivery
  • Creating great client relationships and having a solid client base
  • Taking clients on test drives, ensuring all proper paperwork and documentation is complete and accurate
  • Keep informed and compliant with AMVIC regulations
  • Keeping informed and compliant with federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations that affect vehicle sales

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and be selfmotivated
  • A desire to work in a fast paced and exciting environment
  • Valid driver license in the province that you will work and a good driving record
  • Great attitude with highenergy personality, (never met a stranger)
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Able to be licensed with the Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council (AMVIC)
