The Capital Sales Coordinator is responsible for coordination of capital equipment sales and trade ins across Canada.

They work cross functionally with Sales, Service, Purchasing and Warehousing to facilitate customer satisfaction and eliminate any challenges that may arise.

This role requires strong planning and analytical skills and effectively communicate to keep all involved informed and on point.

They develop strong working relationships with all departments and demonstrate strong written and verbal skills to communication with all stakeholders in the process.

They understand basic project management methodologies as well as the ability to develop processes and look for continuous improvement opportunities to make all facets of the customer experience world class.


The successful applicant will:

  • Execute all Sales & Trade in requests using predefined project templates and standard work breakdown structure documentation
  • Review submitted documentation to ensure completeness in meeting company policy and procedural requirements
  • Manage all relevant information, authorizations and approvals for sales and evaluations
  • Ensure all orders are entered in the system in a timely manner and that all details contained within are accurate and well documented
  • Work with purchasing and sales directors for supply and inventory requirements
  • Schedule and plan logistics with warehouse staff
  • Coordinate activities with service department with regards to release of equipment from lab and install / deinstall of equipment in the field
  • Work with sales reps to ensure that all required documentation is submitted
  • Track and transact evaluation, demo equipment and trade in equipment
  • Communicate directly with customers and other outside agencies to ensure that needed documentation is received
  • Follow up on order fulfillments and deliveries and initiate customer care calls are required
  • Participate in and lead short term projects to improve efficiency and establish best practices
  • Postsecondary diploma in business field or related work experience
  • 5+ years' experience in a customer service role

OR

  • 3+ years' experience as a project coordinator
  • Indepth knowledge of ERP Systems
  • Great Plains Preferred
  • Bilingual in both English and French is an asset
  • Attention to detail is paramount to success for this position
  • Understanding of basic project management methodologies
  • A customer focused attitude
  • Strong communicator and negotiator
  • Proven problemsolving skills in a stressful environment
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask to ensure customers' needs are met
  • Able to take multiple unique inputs and be able to piece them together to form a plan
  • Exceptional organizational and documentation skills
