Job Summary:
Responsible for the transport and safe handling of all product for our alpine restaurants and the transport of refuse from the alpine to the valley.

Responsibilities:
- To continually strive to create the experience of a lifetime for our guests and staff as the best mountain experience.
- Safe transport of goods to/from and between F&B outlets mostly on snow with snow cats; as well as other WB areas and the Whistler Transfer Station; this includes driving on mountain roads that at times require the use of snow chains.
- Assist Warehouse staff at all locations in maintaining a clean and organized work space.
- Ensure the safe keeping of all product & materials in their custody; proper storage, handling and rotation of perishable and nonperishable stock.
- Adhere to all operational and safety policies & procedures, ensuring safe, efficient operation of vehicles and equipment.
- Conduct temperature checks in all buildings throughout the night in accordance with WB's Food Safety plan.
- Liaise with Fleet Maintenance regarding Snow Cat repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain the highest levels of security and to report all incidents regarding theft, equipment abuse, and disregard for any Whistler Blackcomb policies and property and to report any suspicious activities.
- We are a company that works together and throughout the season you may be required to assist other departments as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrate our core values: Serves Others, Do Right, Drive Value, Do Good, Be Safe, Have Fun and Be Inclusive.
- Valid British Columbia Driving License; satisfactory driver's abstract and be 19yrs or older to drive Company vehicles (21yrs for short term vehicle leases).
- Must be in good physical shape and have a strong mechanical aptitude.
- An aboveaverage familiarity with foodservice terms, product identification/usage and restaurant operations.
- In depth knowledge of Whistler Blackcomb terrain is critical.
- Knowledge of Whistler/Blackcomb Mountain operations and policies will be an asset.
- Experience in the operation and routine maintenance of transportation vehicles and equipment to include fourwheel drive trucks with capacities of onetothree tons, snowcats, fork lifts, pallet jacks and handtrucks is an asset.
- Food Safe Level I, Basic First Aid/CPR, an asset.
- Satisfactory criminal record check
- Steel Toe safety footwear required
