Position Summary:


Reporting to the Director, Technical Performance, the Manager, Asset Management Operations leads and champions the Asset Management policy through governance and operation of the Enterprise Asset Management(EAM) Information System (MAXIMO).

This includes but is not limited to Asset Data maintenance, operational partner support/customer service and management of all continuous improvement project initiatives within the MAXIMO system.

This role will ensure the policy objectives, asset management practices and governance are applied consistently through effective life cycle asset management.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead and/or support any GTAA Asset Management System audits
  • Lead the planning and implementation of all Asset Management System audit action plans
  • Provide regular and timely project and improvement status reporting to Technical Performance and ADTS Senior leadership
  • Accountable as primary customer representative and operations authority to support all GTAA projects in the use or change of Maximo
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external partners on audit operations and outcomes
  • Be accountable to act as the primary customer representative for use of the Asset management Information System (Maximo)
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support for all users of the system
  • Lead the Operations business within budget
  • Develop and maintain an annual and 5yr business plan for Asset Management Operations
  • Establish and maintain documented business requirements, process and procedures related to change management and training for the Maximo system and data
  • Establish, measure and report on business performance related to goals, objectives and ongoing projects
  • Lead and develop a team that provides system user support and customer service for system users
  • Establish and maintain governance and change management processes for users, work programs and asset data.
  • Support optimized and sustainable management of all infrastructure assets through operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of all work programs and workflows within the Asset Management Information System (Maximo)

  • Accountable for planning and implementation of all Asset Management Board improvement actions as related to the current use of Maximo System, its data, work programs and workflows.
  • Accountable as the primary customer representative for ensuring customer requirements are collected within 15years business plans for Asset Management Operations and/or the ITM EAM Roadmap plan.

Qualifications:

  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in Airport Management, Manufacturing, Business Analysis, Technical Trade or equivalent
  • 57 years experience in Manufacturing, Facilities or Airport environment
  • 3 years experience working with a CMMS system
  • FMP, MMP, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in People Management (direct report or crossfunctional)
  • Demonstrated experience working in a customer centric environment
  • Ability to obtain and retain a Transportation Security Clearance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Facilitation training, Continuous Improvement Training (Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) training, Advanced Data Analytics
  • Knowledge and understanding of methodology, approach and requirements for ISO55000 certification
  • Demonstrated analytical skills in assessing and reviewing business processes to identify options, best practices and opportunities to improve service delivery
  • High degree of initiative and creativity
  • Exceptional personal drive and motivation
  • Strong facilitation and influence skills
  • Ability to meet timelines and lead multiple tasks and projects
  • Experience working and leading within unionized workforce
