Company Overview:
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist with Accounts Receivable
- Support the AP/Finance department by completing administrative tasks
- Sort, log, scan and file invoices, checks and other documents
- Implement fullcycle A/P
- Complete month end reports and procedures
- Assist with company vehicle acquisition and maintain the company vehicle records as well as maintain a master vehicle spreadsheet
- Maintain all relevant internal processes
- Review bookkeeping/accounting processes and streamline procedures
- Actively recommend improvement and solution opportunities
- Perform related assignments and special projects as required
- General account administration
- Make bank deposits
- Data Entry
- Assist with payroll and employee benefits
- Assist with internal and external audits as needed
- Ensure that invoices are correctly billed
- Prepare tax reports for correct payment to CRA for tax
- Prepare W.S.I.B
- Maintain a strict code of confidentiality
Experience:
- High School Diploma
- 3 years + experience with accounting/bookkeeping
- Sage experience (Assetnot required)
- Spruce experience (Assetnot required)
Benefits provided once three month probation has been completed.
