Entegris in Toronto, Canada is seeking a Production Chemist/Operator to join our team This person will be responsible for manufacturing of chemicals according to predefined procedures and within health and safety operating procedures.

***This position is a fixed schedule on a 12 hour rotating swing shift (2 on/3 off/2 on/2 off/3 on, etc.). Schedule will switch from day shift to overnight shift every four weeks.***

What You'll Do:

· Proper use and care of equipment.

· Rigid adherence to production specifications and procedures.

· Strict compliance with housekeeping protocol, Health & Safety requirements.

· Ensuring all required documentation is current, complete and accurate.

· Working to improve your skills and those of your colleagues.

· Developing and maintaining thorough understanding of chemicals used in manufacturing, production procedures and underlying chemistry.

· Supporting team members with your sound understanding of safe operations in the plant.

· Strict attention to detail at all times (following procedures, documentation, equipment usage, chemical storage/disposal/handling).

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

· B.Sc. degree in Chemistry or college diploma in chemical technology or a related field.

· Experience in a chemical manufacturing plant is preferred. .

· Being respectful of team members and forming productive partnerships.

· Scaffolding others and collaborating with colleagues to propose new solutions and implement new ways to add value.

· Demonstrate a safety-first working environment and actively contribute to a safe working environment.
