En tant que candidat idéal, vous possédez les compétences suivantes :
- Diplôme d'ingénieur ou de commerce.
- Master en administration des affaires ou en ingénierie (souhaitable).
- Au moins 5 ans d'expérience dans le secteur ferroviaire ou dans un secteur connexe ou dans l'ingénierie de projet.
- Grande maîtrise des produits et services de l'organisation.
- Bonne connaissance et bonnes relations avec les clients du secteur des transports dans le pays/le groupe/la région (souhaitable).
- Bonnes capacités numériques et analytiques.

Position Overview:
The primary function of the PCRO Sales Engineer is to contribute to the process of selling assigned product lines to targeted customers in key market areas in close collaboration with key stakeholders. This position will be responsible to support assigned sales goals consistent with the expectations of a thoroughly seasoned professional sales engineer for the assigned product categories by providing deep and broad technical consultation to drive customer awareness and education on the value of Alstom's portfolio of offerings. This position will have the responsibility to manage all product knowledge aspects of the customer relationship, providing sales and technical assistance with distributors, customers, end users and specifiers. It will require interfacing with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and the sales team to help bridge the technical gap and provide engineering presence for the customer meetings.
The Sales Engineer will work cooperatively with inside sales and other members of the team, as well as with our supplier's sales channels and management to meet or exceed monthly sales quotas at the appropriate gross margin while increasing customer satisfaction. The Sales Engineering will work with PCRO Engineering team to help streamline the marketing strategies for Sales Team to best impact the customer. Selling at all levels, they will have to understand the customer's applications and strategies and collaborate with the team to propose the best solutions for their customers' requirements.
What you will be doing in this role:
- Provide accurate and timely planning and specification interpretation, quotation and technical support
- Communicate with customers, warehouse and plants to facilitate problem resolution
- Collect, analyze and utilize market intelligence regarding competitive products, customer needs, preferences and buying habits
- Review and interpret customer needs on plans and specifications
- Provide facility timely solutions to customer issues by utilizing available resources or creating procedure for resolution
- Awareness of and responsiveness to market conditions and competitive activities while communicating such information to product divisions
- Participate in bids calls, presentations and quotations to customers using company price and delivery guidelines while using sound business judgment
- Ownership of the Engineering Sales Deck and marketing material related to Services Engineering.
- Coordinate, align and make accountable various Alstom product teams to assist with issue solution in a timely and cost effect manner
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum three (3) years of experience within the transportation sector and rail industry specifically
- Minimum two (2) years in a Sales engineering role in a technical environment
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

- Knowledge of key customers within sales territories

- Command knowledge of Alstom and service capabilities and can assemble standard offerings to meet customer needs with occasional internal oversight
- Possesses an understanding of the sales process using sales techniques as evidenced by good customer relationships
- Demonstrated and understanding of market trends, industry issues and knowledge of competitors
- Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to leverage support personnel to meet customer and organizational needs
