JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Job Summary:

The WIDA Senior Director of Consortiumand State Relations will lead an established Consortium and StateRelations Department and report to WIDA\'s Executive Director serving asa critical member of the Sr.

Leadership Team. This position will beresponsible for sustaining and cultivating Consortium Membership andpositive relationships with State Education Agencies (SEAs).

Keyresponsibilities include representing SEA voices to both drive and alignwith WIDA\'s strategic goals; overseeing effective communication plansfor internal and external stakeholders; serving as point of escalationfor complex, high-priority client issues; maintaining and enhancingknowledge of WIDA products and services; monitor and respond to changesin the educational policy landscape; coach and grow a team of highperforming professionals; and serve as an organizational leader forWIDA.

Travel is expected in this role and will be, on average, 1-2 tripsper month. WIDA values linguistic and cultural diversity both as an endand a means for success in the field of education. Responsibilities:

Provides executive oversight and strategic planningfor a center or program and may direct the research activitiesundertaken by multiple aligned programs.

Allocates resources, securesfunding, and supervises staff to ensure program strategies andactivities align with the institutional mission.

20% Develops, directs,and evaluates research program strategic planning initiatives andestablishes objectives to ensure appropriate use of financial,administrative, and staffing resources in alignment with the strategicplan 20% Develops, implements, directs, and evaluates research programoperating policies and procedures to comply with regulations,institutional policies, and unit objectives 40% Serves as the unitliaison and key spokesperson to internal and external stakeholder groupsproviding organizational information and representing the interests ofthe research program 10% Develops and audits research program budget(s)10% Exercises..
