RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. Position summary
Dr. Cools-Lartigue's Lab is a research () at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC). We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Esophageal/ Gastric Cancer Research.
General Duties
•Design, conduct and assess data from experiments utilizing the Organ-on-a-Chip system (organoids, iPsC and novel human In silico immune cells), which permits recapitulation of physiologically relevant parameters including differential localization of cell types as well as nutrient flow,
•Design and analyze result of assays from various modes of sample characterization, including image analysis of multichannel immunofluorescence assays,
•Supervise and train students,
•Assist with preparation of reports, manuscripts and grant applications.

Education: Doctorate Degree
Field of Study: Biology, Experimental Medicine, Immunology or related field.
Work Experience: : less than 2 years of postdoctoral experience
•Experience working in cell culture, preferably with primary cell lines and human tissue,
•Experience working with animals.
Required Skills
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
•Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision after appropriate training,
•Detail-oriented and able to multitask,
