What You'll Be Doing

  • Duties and Responsibilities:_
  • Identify and target potential clients in the construction industry who require edge protection / perimeter fencing solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decisionmakers in construction companies including contractors and project managers.
  • Identify and analyze customers' edge protection / perimeter fencing needs, and present product demonstrations and technical information to clients.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and contracts.
  • Participate in trade shows, training workshops, and networking events.
  • Log details of customer interactions in the CRM system and complete all other required documentation.
  • Develop a strong understanding of and stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions and competitor pricing/activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to exceed sales targets and deliver excellent customer service throughout the rental cycle.

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • Qualifications and Requirements:_
  • Proven outside sales experience within the Edge Protection / Perimeter Fencing industry.
  • Strong understanding of edge protection systems, temporary fencing or related construction safety equipment.
  • Comfortable viewing and understanding building blueprints to asses edge protection requirements.
  • Valid G driver's license and a clean or satisfactory driver's abstract.
  • Highly driven for results with a customer and teamoriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to problemsolve effectively.
  • Selfstarter with the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, as well as with a team.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Passion for sales and customer service.
  • Comfortable with computers.
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; a postsecondary diploma would be an asset but is not required.
