We are on the lookout for a highly motivated, enthusiastic team player to join our accounting team as an Accounts Payable Associate . This is a Full-Time, Regular position at our Headquarters in Abbotsford, BC .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Code & Enter invoices to appropriate GL Codes:
     Operating expenses
     Service work orders
     Parts invoices
     Brokerage & duty invoices
     Courier/freight invoices
     Internal driver payments
  • Spreadsheet preparation for Fuel Expenses allocation
  • Admin & Maintenance of company held MasterCards
  • Review & approve monthly MasterCards in Concur and upload into ERP
  • Handling yearly lease documents/payments and property tax
  • Completion of credit applications and approval process
  • Handling incoming mail distribution
  • Prepare cheque & EFT batches
  • Process various payments like cheques, wires, etc.
  • Vendor files maintenance and record keeping
  • Reconciliation of vendor statements
  • Prepare GST and PST reports
  • Bank reconciliations, cheque handling, and online payments
  • Investigate billing discrepancies and resolve issues
  • Ensuring confidentiality of financial records
  • Vacation coverage and other A/P support duties
  • Other tasks to support A/P & A/R Teams

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-3 years experience in an A/P role
  • Ability to manage accounting figures and financial records accurately
  • High moral judgment for handling sensitive information
  • Account reconciliations proficiency
  • Basic knowledge of accounting systems and controls
  • Familiarity with IDS Astra/G2 is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Positive team attitude and work ethic
  • Analytical, planning, and execution skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Salary range - $22- $23 per hour based on experience.
