We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic students, youth and young adults to support our summer operation in Cape Breton If you're between 15 and 30 years of age and looking to develop skills, meet new people and make a difference, then check out these opportunities.

Duties:

Outreach Assistant(s)

With guidance, the Outreach Assistant will be responsible for developing and delivering fun and engaging educational and outreach programs to a variety of audiences.

You will connect with audiences at virtual and in-person festivals, events and activities around Cape Breton Island.

Public Relations and Communications Assistant
The Public Relations and Communications Assistant will support media visits, events and communications strategies and tactics. This role will include writing and editing communications materials including media pitches, news releases and newsletters for various audiences. The Assistant will also help plan special events and provide support for event implementation.

Promotions Assistant
The Promotions Assistant will use their skills to help in the development and implementation of tourism and promotional activities.

This role enhances the awareness of visitor experiences and engages all visitors in the learning, enjoyment and connection to Parks Canada places on Cape Breton Island.

Digital Photo Collection Technician

The Digital Photo Archivist Technician will sort, organize and streamline the photo bank collection that is currently stored over multiple platforms and devices.

This role will require strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Photography and Videography Student

The Photography and Videography Student will be a creative storyteller that has great attention to detail, which will be used to create a series of captivating digital images.

You'll have the amazing opportunity to capture photography and video of Parks Canada administered places, staff, visitors and experiences.
