The successful candidate will be interested in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration equipment. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience of an electrician background, a strong commitment to customer service, safety, and excellent problem-solving skills. We are looking for an electrician to perform in HVAC and Service work.
Responsibilities:- Troubleshooting issues with all residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC / Refrigeration equipment.
- Installing or retrofitting equipment as per specifications, customer requests, blueprints, or the current building/plumbing codes.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by inspecting product quality and installation to guarantee conformance.
- Documenting service and installation actions by completing work orders, reports, logs, and records.
- Creating a positive relationship with customers by demonstrating your ability to communicate, problem solve, to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining company vehicles to neat, clean, and safe standards.
- Providing excellent account servicing, including analyzing work orders, investigating complaints, identifying solutions, conducting testing, and resolving issues for both new and existing accounts professionally.
- Stay current on industry developments and technologies through continuous training.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or Grade 12 equivalent.
- Certification as a Journeyperson would be an asset.
- In-depth understanding of local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Willingness to adhere to the company's uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Proficiency in working across diverse environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Strong problem-solving abilities mixed with effective communication skills.
- Possession of a valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Capability to work independently in a dynamic and demanding environment.
- Experience with routine maintenance operations.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Displays meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to engage with individuals sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
