We are looking for a hands-on technical professional to lead the team responsible for SAP Business Intelligence reporting. The position reports to the Manager, Sigma Technical, within Knowledge, Information and Technology Services (KITS).

The key activities of this position are:

  • Works closely with functional and client teams to translate NRC business reporting requirements into SAP BI solutions as well as the installation and version maintenance of NRC's reporting software.
  • Represents the team in discussions with managers, technical/functional staff and program or administrative specialists of client organizations to obtain agreement on service requirements or the resolution of technical issues.

Screening Criteria:

Education:

College diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or another specialty relevant to the position. A combination of education, training and/or experience may also be considered.

Experience:

  • Significant* and recent** experience in detailed requirement analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of logical and physical data model including data extraction/load/transform, and various objects in SAP BW.
  • Significant* and recent** experience developing SAP BEx queries and SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence reports.
  • Recent** experience in one or more SAP functional modules, ABAP coding and/or migration to BW/4HANA in SAP BW would be an asset.
  • Recent** experience in Power BI, and/or Data Governance would be an asset.
  • SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE refers to a depth of experience in the IM/IT field that would normally be acquired over a period of three (3) years or more
**RECENT EXPERIENCE is defined as experience within the last ten (10) years.

Relocation assistance will be determined in accordance with the NRC's directives.

Compensation:

From $89,548 to $112,660 per annum.


An incumbent occupying a position within the CS Group is currently entitled to receive a terminable allowance of $212 per month.
