Fonction du poste:

  • Responsable du maintien des principes Zeroharm, tout en fournissant des produits et services qui répondent ou dépassent les attentes des clients internes et externes en utilisant les méthodes les plus rentables disponibles.

Principales responsabilités:

  • Diriger la main-d'œuvre, les matériaux et l'activité de travail pour atteindre la production de l'usine aux niveaux prévus
  • Gérer les performances en matière de productivité, de qualité et de sécurité.
  • Diriger, encadrer, former et former les membres de l'équipe pour atteindre les objectifs stratégiques de l'entreprise et les initiatives de sécurité.
  • Mener des entrevues d'emploi et s'assurer de la conformité aux nouvelles pratiques d'embauche.
  • Gérer la paie et la soumission des quarts de travail.
  • Diriger l'exploitation de l'usine dans le cadre des lignes directrices de sécurité de CHEP SHE pour tous les clients et entrepreneurs internes et externes.
  • Champion local de la sécurité et coprésident du CSMC
  • Recueillir, valider et enregistrer des informations clés sur les sorties de l'usine.
  • Assurer le leadership pour les initiatives d'amélioration continue.
  • Gérer les programmes GRTW et la gestion des réclamations.
  • Volonté d'apprendre d'autres processus ou programmes nécessaires pour remplir ce rôle
  • Études : Baccalauréat ou diplôme d'études collégiales et/ou expérience de travail pertinente
  • Excellentes compétences en communication

Expérience:

  • 5 ans d'expérience en supervision de première ligne dans la production, la fabrication, la logistique ou le service à la clientèle.
  • Expérience avec les programmes de sécurité formels, requis
  • Les POIC font l'expérience d'un atout.
  • les programmes d'entretien et la connaissance de l'environnement réglementaire sont un atout

Compétences et connaissances:

  • Une connaissance pratique de Six Sigma, de Lean Manufacturing ou d'autres programmes d'amélioration continue sont des atouts.
  • Expérience de la planification de la production, établissement de relations, compétences en résolution de problèmes analytiques, forte capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches et à travailler dans un environnement d'équipe.
  • Expérience des processus de recrutement, d'embauche, de discipline et de cessation d'emploi.
  • Maîtrise de l'informatique, Microsoft Office requis SAP, Kronos, CMMS sont des atouts

Job Description

Position Purpose:

  • Responsible for maintaining Zeroharm principles, while providing product and service that meets or exceeds the internal and external customers' expectations using the most cost effective methods available.

Major/Key Accountabilities:

  • Direct manpower, materials & work activity to achieve plant output to planned levels
  • Manage performance on productivity, quality and safety.
  • Direct, coach, train and develop team members to meet corporate strategic goals and safety initiatives.
  • Conduct employment interviews and ensure compliance with new hire practices.
  • Manage shift payroll and submission.
  • Direct plant operations within CHEP SHE safety guidelines for all internal, external customers and contractors.
  • Local Safety Champion and Co Chair of the JHSC
  • Collect, validate & record key plant output information.
  • Provide leadership for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage GRTW programs and Claims Management.
  • Willingness to learn other processes or programs required to perform this role

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor Degree or College Diploma and/or relevant work experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience:
  • 5 years of front line supervisory experience in production, manufacturing, logistics or customer service.
  • Experience with formal safety programs, required
  • CHEP experience an asset.
  • maintenance programs and knowledge of regulatory environment an asset

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing or other continuous improvement programs are assets.
  • Production planning experience, relationship building, analytical problems solving skills, strong ability to multi-task and work within a team environment.
  • Experience with recruitment, hiring, discipline and termination processes.
  • Computer proficiency, Microsoft Office required AP, Kronos, CMMS are assets
