Job Description

Guide and empower the DevOps team to foster a smooth integration between software development and technology operations. This leadership role prioritizes building a collaborative, constantly evolving, and inventive atmosphere across diverse teams. The DevOps Manager is tasked with crafting and implementing strategies in line with the organization's goals, while also managing the assessment, deployment, and oversight of tools for automation, CI/CD, and systematic monitoring

What You'll Do:

  • Ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of CG's DevOps infrastructure and pipelines to support current operations and future growth.
  • Plan the Release Calendar and coordinate across functions at each stage of the release cycle.
  • Work with scrum masters, cross-functional, and cross-product teams to manage deployment schedules, upgrades, release requirements, timelines, and milestones.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the DevOps team.
  • Lead the Design, implementation, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate code delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with the Cloud and Network team to oversee infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
  • Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Develop and report on key metrics such as release frequency, change lead time and change failure rate.
  • Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices, tools, and processes within the organization.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize efficiency and performance.
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure that DevOps practices comply with organizational policies, standards, and regulations
  • Managing external partners (contractors, vendors).
Qualifications

Let's Talk About You:

  • Information Technical diploma/certificate in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
  • Certifications in relevant areas (Microsoft DevOps Engineer is preferred)
  • Strong expertise in Azure cloud services, including App Service, Kubernetes Service (AKS), SQL Database, Function App, and DevOps Services.
  • Experience with managing pipelines related to Salesforce and D365 (Microsoft Dynamics 365) is preferred
  • comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS)
  • Strong background in both software development and IT operations, coupled with proven leadership abilities
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps platform (Pipeline, Repos, etc)
  • In-depth knowledge of CI/CD concepts, tools, principles and best practices
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
