  • Regional Quality Leader

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:

  • Lead quality teams and implement quality improvement tools and techniques ensuring quality execution in the plants are part of the overall launch and manufacturing process(es) that goes beyond inspection, containment and other non-value added steps.-
  • Inspire enthusiasm and participation in the continuous improvement drive for Quality across the region-
  • Responsible for the implementation and adherence to the quality management and environment systems across the region-
  • Lead CAPA (Corrective Action & Preventive Action) initiatives that result from internal/external audits and customer reported non-conformances-
  • Ensures Quality and Environment effectiveness through management reviews-
  • Lead Internal and External Audit programs for the region-
  • Develop and maintain ongoing, meaningful Quality Engineering relationships between Creation, customers and suppliers-
  • Ensures customer quality metrics are being met.-
  • Accountable for sharing best practices across region and collaboration with other regions.-
  • Developing training plans to build quality teams capabilities within the region.-
  • Project manage certification body requirements, as needed, when new certifications are required within one of your facilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to coach, lead and develop a strong team culture
  • Excellent communication skills; able to clearly express complex ideas
  • In depth knowledge of quality tools and experience of implementation
  • Knowledge of Lean Methodologies
  • Experience with dealing with customers regarding quality issues
  • Extensive knowledge of quality systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Quality or equivalent experience
  • WORKING ENVIRONMENT


Physical Demands
  • No heavy lifting is expected. Exertion of up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally may be required
  • Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computers and copiers
  • Travel between business units will be requiredMental Demands
  • Maintain emotional stamina and integrity to conduct the essential duties of this position and meet unexpected challenges and stress demands that may become necessary to be successful in this positionWorking Conditions
  • The working environment is generally clean; however, the individual may be exposed occasionally to dust. ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection, safety clothing and gear is required while working in safety sensitive areas. Otherwise, office/business casual attire is appropriate.
