Job Summary


This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of operations to ensure the team is able to meet the needs of our customers.

This is a temporary position with an anticipated duration of September 5, 2023 through March 15, 2024.

Purchasing and Planning Duties

  • Ensure all purchasing activity is executed timely and track the progress of all shipments.
  • Follow up with suppliers for updated ETA's.
  • Maintain NAV with accurate order quantities and expected arrival dates.
  • Create and maintain receiving schedules for multiple facilities to enhance the interdepartmental communication for incoming materials while managing inventory based on facility constraints.
  • Review planning schedules for accuracy and update ERP system as required.
  • Data entry for new work orders and purchase orders

Traffic Related Duties

  • Schedule Pickup Appointments in TMS software for various shipping locations
  • Data entry for shipment routing for retail customers
  • Data entry for onboarding new carriers and updating existing carriers.
  • Schedule and create customs invoices for weekly bulk orders.
  • Track and update orders throughout shipping process

Customer Service Duties

  • Invoicing shipments for facilities that do not have access to NAV.
  • Posting invoices in EDI and customer portals
  • Order Entry

Additional Responsibilities

  • Be flexible and adaptable to everchanging priorities in a fast paced, highpressure environment.
  • Be detail oriented and use strong organizational/analytical skills with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and complete multiple tasks.
  • Use strong record keeping and follow through skills, including attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Rapidly respond to unforeseen developments and initiate actions
  • Use strong written and verbal communication to interact with suppliers and coworkers to implement changes, resolve discrepancies and/or other supply chain related and operational matters with a solutionoriented approach.
  • Locate data in a variety of forms such as invoices, shipping receipts and new product information sheets.
  • Work independently, but also work in teams with coworkers to ensure effective planning and execution of purchasing duties.
  • Microsoft Navision or SAP experience preferred but not required.
