The team at Barrhaven Dental Care located in Nepean, ON are looking for a passionate, hard-working Dental Office Manager on a full-time temporary basis.


The ideal Dental Office Manager for our team would be excited to develop and implement innovative methods to optimize patient experience, improve the flow of patients into practice, and create working harmonies between the front desk office and dental professional team.

The position is a 1-year contract covering for a maternity leave.

SCHEDULE:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
  • Temporary contract start in April 2024 and end in May 2025

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 3 year of experience is required in dental office management or dental administration
  • Experience with dental practice management software such as Abeldent is considered an asset
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook)
  • Strong written and communication skills when speaking with patients and dental providers
  • Strong knowledge of medical and dental terminology and processes
  • Experience maintaining a professional level of patient privacy
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, and other financial transactions
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
  • Customer service mindset
