Front Desk Building Concierge

- Job Description_**
_Overall Purpose_
Under the general supervision of the Property Manager, the Concierge is responsible to maintain and provide a high level of administration and client services of the building's front desk.
_Working Hours_
Various Evenings During the Week from 4:30pm - 8:30pm & Weekends
_Key Responsibilities_
- Assists the property management team as required to efficiently maintain the property. Provide information and updates to Property Management;
- Responds to owner/resident requests/complaints in a courteous, friendly, prompt and professional manner;
- Report any issues of deficiency that needs to be addressed;
- Ensure all contractors sign in and out of the building and track any keys signed out by the contractors;
- Manage elevator bookings for residents. Ensure all pre and post more inspections are completed;
- Program FOB and garage remotes for residents;
- Bring resident concerns, questions and suggestions to the attention of the Property Manager;
- Building Concierge should monitor the building camera system and respond to any suspicious activity in a prompt fashion;
- Send building notifications to residents as and when requested by the Property Management;
- Coordinate access into units when requested;
- Additional tasks as directed by the Property Manager and/or Board of Directors
Requirements:
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Requires professional demeanor with ability to use independent judgment to handle any customer services matters in satisfactory manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and to work well under pressure
- Team player
- Proficiency with computers
Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24-30 per week
Salary:
$16.00-$19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Ottawa, ON K2P 1J5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Shift availability:
- Night Shift (preferred)
