The opportunity


The AVP & Deputy Manager, Commercial Relationships will provide effective leadership for the upper mid market business development team in our Vancouver main banking centre.

This role creates, implements, and drives team accountability with an effective sales management strategy while monitoring & optimizing efficiency, fostering a high-performance environment.

This role will coach and mentor the team in sourcing full-service general commercial banking relationships and financial solutions while building & maintaining a portfolio of large, sophisticated commercial clients.

As the primary delegate to the Market Lead, this role could serve as location leader for locations that comprise a district.

Provide full-service solutions for clients with the view to be every client's primary financial partner.- Business growth & sales activation.

You will undertake the gamut in sales activities while cultivating a mix of client accounts and drive team results to obtain targets in annual loans, deposits, cash management, revenue, and new to branch clients.

You are actively engaged in the local business community with an established network and cultivate new relationship opportunities to drive growth. Team leadership.

Core know-how & experience requirements


Results leadership with dynamic teams with proven experience (15 years) in the development, implementation, and execution of profitable sales strategies in a commercial lending role and environment.

Supporting education includes an undergraduate degree in commerce, finance, or accounting fields. Equivalent experience will be considered.
