Endeavour Group is Australia's largest retail drinks network underthe Dan Murphy's and BWS brands. We also run the country's largest portfolio of licensed hotels.

The Senior Manager, ITSM Transformation is a critical leadership role responsible for spearheading the integration of IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices into the broader One Endeavour transformation initiatives of the organisation. This role is pivotal in ensuring that ITSM processes and tools are optimised to support the strategic objectives of business change, driving significant improvements in service delivery, operational efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role

  • Transformational Leadership: Develop and execute ITSM strategies that are specifically designed to support EGL's business transformation goals. Lead the ITSM component of larger business change projects, ensuring IT services align with and enable business objectives.
  • Process Engineering: Work closely with the BAU ITSM leads to identify any required redesign of existing ITSM processes to align with changing business needs driven from the Transformation program. This includes streamlining workflows, integrating new technologies, and adopting innovative service management approaches.
  • Training and Capacity Building: Design and deliver training sessions for IT and business teams to enhance their understanding and implementation of transformed ITSM processes that support business objectives.
  • Metrics and Impact Analysis: Develop metrics and monitoring systems to track the effectiveness of ITSM processes in supporting business transformation objectives. Use insights to drive continuous improvement and report on transformation progress to senior management.
  • Change Management: Lead organisational change efforts related to ITSM, ensuring stakeholders are engaged and supportive of changes, and that transitions are smooth and effective.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, project managers, and other key stakeholders across EGL to ensure that ITSM transformations are well integrated with business strategies and operations.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with technology and service providers, ensuring they meet the needs of the business transformation goals. Engage with internal stakeholders to align expectations and project deliverables.
  • Governance and Compliance: Ensure that the redesigned ITSM processes comply with all regulatory requirements and internal policies, particularly focusing on data security and privacy in the context of business transformation.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT service management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing ITSM programs
  • Certifications in ITIL, SRE. DevOps or similar
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Additional certifications in Project Management (PMP), Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies
  • Experience in a ASX, global or multi-site operational environment
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM frameworks, particularly ITIL; ITIL Expert or Master certification is highly desirable
  • Experience with modern ITSM tools and platforms
  • Proven track record of leading successful ITSM transformation projects
  • Excellent leadership and organizational change management skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage and influence senior executives and cross-functional teams.
