Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) helps the Government of Canada serve Canadians. With a strong focus on quality customer service, we provide innovative common services such as real estate and building management, purchasing, banking, pay and pensions, and translation to other government departments, agencies, and boards. By providing these centralized services to departments and agencies, we enable them to focus on what they do best: providing their programs and services to Canadians.
A qualified pool of candidates will be established from this process to staff identical and/or similar positions within Public Services and Procurement Canada in Winnipeg, MB, Regina, SK, Saskatoon, SK, Calgary, AB, and Edmonton, AB with various tenures (Indeterminate, Acting, Term, Deployment, Assignment, Secondment).

Information you must provide In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications) Education:
-Successful completion of two years of secondary school or employer-approved alternatives*.
Experience:
-Experience providing administrative support in an office environment.
-Experience with entering, correcting, searching and/or manipulating data.
Competencies:

-Showing initiative and being action-oriented.

Abilities:
-Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
-Ability to communicate effectively orally.
Asset Education:
-Post-secondary education in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.
Experience:
-Experience providing administrative support in Human Resources.
-Experience with entering, correcting, searching and/or manipulating data in PeopleSoft or My GCHR.
-Experience in manipulating data using Excel.
-Experience in using a records management system (e.g. GCDOCS).
