FINANCIAL ANALYST
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented _Financial Analyst_ to join our Business Intelligence team.

As a _Financial Analyst,_ you will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing insights to guide business decisions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, organize, and transform data into meaningful reports and visualizations that drive actionable insights.

  • Brampton, ON or Mississauga, ON
  • Fulltime, permanent

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with various teams to identify data sources and collect relevant data.
  • Clean, transform, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and suitability for analysis.
  • Analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in the data to support business objectives.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to discover hidden insights.
  • Develop clear and informative dashboards, charts, and visualizations to present insights to stakeholders.
  • Create recurring reports and automate data visualization processes where possible.
  • Translate data into understandable insights that drive decisionmaking.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand their needs and provide datadriven recommendations.
  • Monitor and ensure data quality and accuracy through regular validation procedures.
  • Identify and address data discrepancies or anomalies.
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams, including business analysts, managers, and data scientists, to understand requirements and provide analytical support.
  • Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Proactively suggest process improvements and ways to enhance data analysis efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in Accounting, Economics or Commerce; Professional Accounting Designation (CPA) or Data Science experience is a plus.
  • Experience with data visualization tool Power BI.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problemsolving skills with an attention to detail and a strong sense of data accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey findings in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data modeling is a plus.
  • Experience in Insurance or Financial Services industry is an asset.
